CBeebies Hotel has a range of suites from Bugbies rooms (which are the cheeky little yellow blobs that bounce around our TV screens), Octonauts, Postman Pat, Something Special and a Swashbuckle room. Each room designed around its specific theme.
We arrived at the hotel expecting a WOW factor, but my goodness, it was more than a wow! It indeed was incredible!!
The hotel is relatively new, so everything is immaculate. The attention to detail is fantastic, from the bathroom to the corridors outside, the lifts – everything is as if you have stepped into a toddler’s dream world.
Throughout the day, when you aren’t in the park, you can spend the day in the CBeebies hotel enjoying the many activities they have on offer. There is everything, and anything from 7 am to 9 pm, so whether you’ve got a night owl or an early riser, you know there will be more than enough on offer for them.
So what is on from 7-9? Well, of course, you have crazy golf, you have the theme park itself, the waterpark (absolutely fantastic), the amusement arcade areas throughout the central hotel, the cinema, numerous restaurants and bars to choose from, not forgetting the entertainment in the CBeebies hotel!
Now, this is where your little ones are going to LOVE this place! They can enjoy CBeebies on the big screen from 7 am, followed by Get Up & Go active, meet your favourite CBeebies characters, there are puzzles and stories, music and dance plus so much more. Finally, it all ends with a beautiful stargazing show and a bedtime story complete with a dimmed ambience, twinkling lights and bean bags scattered around for them to doze off with their blankets and comforters. It actually bought a little tear to my eye seeing them all laying there exhausted from their day in the theme park and enjoying a bedtime story, all together and snoozy.
CBeebies Land Hotel has been labelled as “Vegas for kids” by the media – it truly is! CBeebies hotel is fabulous. I cannot even begin to highlight just how much there is to do throughout the day; however, on one occasion, we briefly ventured to the main hotel and enjoyed a little G&T around a wonderfully ornate pirate ship. It was refreshing to be away from the CBeebies theme tune! Plus, it was nice to know that the staff were as attentive in the main hotel as they were entertaining the kids in CBeebies Land Hotel.
We visited in December for the Santa Experience. Austyn was mesmerised by the whole thing. After a long day, he waved goodbye to the elves and Father Christmas, snuggled up with his soft toy he was gifted and was fast asleep, allowing Dad and I a little chill time before dinner.
During this time, we noticed what gorgeous grounds surround the hotel – obviously, it was far too cold and dark to brave a wander, but I imagine the gardens are stunning in the Summer. It really is a wonderland for the whole family.
And we haven’t even got to the theme park itself yet! There are 15 rides and attractions your little one can enjoy, however, there are 3 attractions your little ones won’t be able to enjoy if they are under 0.9m: Go Jetters, Octonauts and Justin’s House, which Austyn was a bit disappointed about, but there were plenty of other things to take his mind off of this!
As a guide, these are the height restrictions:
Furchester Hotel Live: Any age and any height
Go Jetters: Minimum 0.9m – Under 1.25m with an adult
Octonauts: Minimum 0.9m – Under 1.1m to be supervised by an adult

In The Night Garden: Under 1m to be supervised by an adult
Mr Blooms Allotment: Any age and any height
Justin’s House: Minimum 0.9m – under 18’s only unless accompanying a child
Big Fun Show Time: Any age and any height
Something Special Sensory Garden: Any age and any height
Charlie & Lola’s Moonsquirters & Green Drops: Under 0.9m
Numtums Number Go Round: Any age, under 1m accompanied by an adult
Nina’s Science Lab: Any age and any height
Get-Set-Go Treetop Adventure: Under 1.1m accompanied by an adult
Tree Fu Tom Training Centre: Adult Supervision
CBeebies Land Photo Studio: Any age and any height
Of course, the winning moment for Austyn was meeting some characters he knows and loves. Especially his favourites being Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy but of course, our experience wouldn’t have been complete without seeing Father Christmas and the iconic OFFICIAL Snowman. The elves at the grotto were super friendly, and our trip through the Christmas tree forest was a lovely sparkling walk, finally being greeted by a real-life cuddly authentic Father Christmas.
The bad points of CBeebies Land? We only stayed one night, and despite the monotonous sound of the CBeebies theme tune going around in my head – this is a kids dream and a parents heaven – there is SO much to do, so much to see. Your little one won’t stop laughing and smiling, and you’ll all have the most wonderful experience! You’ll certainly want to stay more than just one night though, that’s for sure! I didn’t think I would say this, but I was really sad to leave. The whole experience has left us with magical memories I will cherish forever. Worth every penny!
