The Little Wooden Cabin, Farnham

Now, this little place is a bit of a cosy special that’s featured on Airbnb. It’s a gorgeous wooden cabin set in the owners beautiful garden with stunning views across Bourne Wood. The owners home is directly adjacent, however, the way the cabin is positioned you don’t feel at all overlooked or imposing on each other’s privacy. Above all, you have your own large decking area with furniture for al fresco dining when the weather is nice, plus complete access to the garden including a lovely seating area where we enjoyed our delightful breakfast.

We’ve been looked after here twice now and we absolutely LOVE it! It’s in a fabulous location, the cabin is charming – the decor is impressive and there’s everything you need right there for your disposal including TV, fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster including complimentary Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom.

For those of you who do not know the area, Bourne Wood and Frensham Ponds, which are within walking distance or a short drive away are both used regularly as film sets. Just around the corner from the barn is a convenience store, post office, newsagents and pharmacy.

If you’re looking for local things to do with the kids in and near to Farnham you can venture to Farnham Castle, Frimley Lodge Park, the 12th-century ruins of Waverley Abbey, Farnham Park, Tilford Rural Life Centre or how about Tice’s Meadow Nature Reserve. Farnham has it all, and this particular little nook to stay in has even more. It’s certainly not one to be missed!
